You can purchase vehicles in Japan and the USA from Hearte International Japan (HIJ)
in Japanese yen and US$. Prices can be viewed with full vehicle details once you receive
your login and password after contacting us. You can have the option to purchase from
HIJ owned inventory, Auctions Direct (direct from auctions in Japan), Dealers Direct
(direct from dealers in Japan and the US).
 
HIJ INVENTORY
 
Thousands of vehicles are available for your purchase online under HIJ Inventory.
Prices are quoted in Japanese yen and US$ either in FOB, C&F or CIF terms depending on
the market settings of a particular region.
All our prices are negotiable and inquiries are welcome. If you wish to visit Japan to
purchase directly, FOB, C&F or CIF rates can alsobe negotiated upon request.
A deposit of 50% is required prior to secure your vehicle with the remainder due
prior to release of the shipment and shipping documents.
Payment of deposits are required within seven days of confirmation via Telegraphic
Transfer (TT) or confirmation of L/C or other arrangements.
 
AUCTIONS DIRECT
 
HIJ offers more than 150,000 vehicles per week on our Auctions Direct system.
HIJ participates weekly in more than 90 auctions throughout Japan including regions in
the North (Hokkaido and Tohoku), Tokyo, Nagoya, Kansai (Osaka-Kyoto-Kobe),
Chugoku, (Okayama-Hiroshima), and Kyushu (Southern Japan). HIJ receives auction data
and photographs from Japanese auction houses daily.
This information is loaded into the Auctions Direct database and offered online via the
Auctions Direct website. This is accessible after contacting us and provide you ID and
password to access the website. HIJ's customer service personnel confirm the deposit
status of each customer and all services are available seven days a week, 24 hours a day.
Payment of 50% of the FOB, C&F or CIF price for each ordering required within 7-days of
the purchase via TT or L/C. The final 50% of the FOB , C&F or CIF price is due before
the shipment.
 
DEALER DIRECT
 
Dealer Direct is HIJ's search engine linking HIJ customers to dealer
inventory held in Japan and the USA. Terms of trade for Dealer Direct are the same as the
terms for Auctions Direct.
 
SHIPMENT
 
Vehicles are shipped as soon as possible after deposits are confirmed and the shipping
lines confirm space availability.
 
RETENTION OF TITLE
 
No title to any vehicle is transferred to the customer until HIJ receives all the necessary
payment and appropriate documents are released. If payment is not received by the due
date, we may enter any premises where the goods are and repossess them.
 
CONFIDENTIALITY
 
We dont share, sell or reveal any information about our customers to any unassociated
organisation.
 
GUARANTEE
 
All vehicles exported by HIJ undergo a stringent screening process at HIJ inspection
centers near the ports of Nagoya, Osaka-Kobe, and Tokyo before shipment.
You can order your vehicles with confidence, knowing that the vehicle you purchase
online is accurately described.
 
REFUNDS
 
Refund request shall be accommodated only if the customer has a credit balance and if
there are no pending units in the account. To protect the company from any liability in
connection with the implementation of your request or instruction, request for refund will
only be returned to the original bank account where the money was received from.
Furthermore, bank charges incurred will be shouldered by the customer therefore the
amount the customer will receive shall be net of bank charges.
 
PENALTIES AND INTEREST
 
HIJ reserves the right to charge penalties to cover costs and lost revenue resulting from
cancellations or transactions that are not followed through or due to failure of timely
payments by customers. HIJ has the right to claim interest at the rate of 10% per annum
on any outstanding overdue amount.
